Different ways to ROCK this cut!

Today I took some times to create a few different looks for this cut, I decided on 4 looks.  These 4 looks are very quick and easy to do; it literally will take you less than 5 minutes to do.

 Here’s the first look:
This look is very easy to do; all you need is a 1 inch barrel curling iron, a comb, and pomade wax (I use the ION Daily Solutions from Sally, or you can buy the Tea tree Pomade Wax at Ulta). First divide your bangs in layers starting from the top and curl inward with all the layers.   Lightly comb the hair down to smooth it out.  Dab a little bit of pomade wax to your fingers and run them through your bangs to shape them inward.  Choose your favorite hand band and put them on, you can also separate the tip of your bangs the way I did in the picture above.  This look is great for either for daytime or even  going out in the evening, very cute and simple.

Here's the second look:
This second look is very similar to the first look except that you tease the bangs a little bit than comb it down to smooth it out for some volume.  Apply pomade to keep the shape then a simple headband to top it off, great for day time and everyday wear.

Here's the third look:
This look is awesome and quite easy to do, it is great to rock it at the club, concert, downtown art shows or where ever you wish to rock it with.  Again using the 1 inch barrel curling iron, this time curling your bangs upward layer by layer.  Tease the layer with a comb, lightly hairspray your teased bangs, than lightly comb your bangs upward.  You can hairspray your bangs a few more time to keep it up.

Here's the fourth look:
This last look is the evening look, all you need to do with this is lightly curl your bangs inward.  Using the pomade wax and your fingers, twist a little part of your bangs into a curl and pin it down with a bobby pin.  Repeat that with another portion of your bangs and pin it down.  At the end you should have 3 portion out pieces of your bangs pinned.  Using the pomade wax smooth the side of your hair down so it looks sleek and shiny and well kept close to your skin, as well as the back or your hair.  Choose your favorite pin and place it in the middle loop that you had created, and you are done!

I hope you guys like the different styles I just showed you, and have fun experimenting with your hair!

Until next time!

Pixie Trend for 2011

Whelp!  It’s Monday night and I’m finally relaxing after cooking up a storm today.   I’m exhausted and pooped out, though nevertheless it was a well spent day.  Finally, I get to sit down to talk about the new short trends for 2011 that I’m really excited about.  Here are some of the short styles that has been buzzing around, that I find very appealing to me.

Not a lot of ladies are daring enough to try out these short pixie cut in fear of temporarily losing their long beautiful locks.  However, once that daring step is taken the fun begins with all the styling experiments.  So, I myself took this daring step and join the 2011 trend of short hairstyle!  It took me awhile to comfort myself that my hair will grow back very soon, and that summer is rolling along so this is the best time to chop all that hair off and have my hair grow back when winter once again return.    Here's the picture before and after my daring cut!

What do you guys think?  If this work for me it will work for you!  Tomorrow I will show you how to create a few styles for this cut!!!
Stay Tune!
